I am a clinical marriage and family therapist with over 25 years of experience in a variety of specialized areas. I specialize in severe mental health diagnoses, high-risk child and adolescent family interventions, relational issues, trauma, abuse, and behaviour patterns.

I have conducted consultations, psychiatric assessments, and crisis interventions for multidisciplinary treatment teams with hospitals, medical clinics, and private/government agencies

I place particular emphasis on client empowerment and advocacy within community and legal systems.

I have worked with doctors and psychiatrists for many years, which has given me a good sense of medications and treatment options that would best suit the client and their personal situation. My approach is completely client-centered and I am sensitive to the pace of the individual.
